Perry Arnquist was a stamp collector in Rockford, IL. He collected US pre-1911 postal history and stampless government and civil war letters. He was the inaugural recipient in 1991 of the Perry Arnquist Award, awarded by the Rockford Stamp Club. Nearly year since then (with a hiatus between 2004 and 2012), the club has given the Perry Arnquist Award to a member who has given outstanding service to the club.
