Letter postmarked 12 Apr 1952 from missionary Kay Sundstrand (1918-2007) to the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). This is a denomination of more than seven hundred churches in the United States and Canada, and was founded by Swedish immigrants in 1885.

Kay served as a teacher in the Congo from 1949 to1974, and again from 1986-1989. Her autobiography is called "A Heart for God".
